I just talked with my colleague from Mitrovica, employee of the newspapers ‘Jedinstvo’. In North Mitrovica and practically throughout North Kosovo there are no longer any foreigner, that means the police officers or civilian staff of EULEX, OSCE, or members of any other international organization …
The only one who left are KPS police officers – Serbian nationality, and even they do not go out, or anybody ‘respect them’, as my colleague said… As soon as NATO occupiers withdraw their personnel, it means that something very bad will happen, people are very worried about their safety ….
I conveyed to him the news that the enemies are gathering near šiptar’s (Albanian) village Kosutovo. He will pass on. In addition, it is very difficult in terms of purchasing food and basic supplies. As a father of 3 kids, for a days now, he is purchasing on credit at the local stores. If he doesn’t receive a salary (he receives it through a bank) he does not know how he will feed out his family.
